- LaborMarketInfo is a highly recommended resource for individuals researching occupations, career paths, wages, employment outlook, training providers, and skills of a single occupation in California and nationwide. Also available with each description are the education and training requirements required for entry-level positions. College may not be for everyone, but postsecondary training and coursework is a key to a living wage and economic security.
- California Association of County Veterans Service Officers (CACVSO) is an organization of professional veterans advocates. In California, the County Veterans Service Officer is a resource as a veteran's advocacy system and is often the initial contact in the community for veterans' services. Through the County Veterans Service Officer, the CACVSO serves veterans and their dependents and survivors within the counties of California.

- California Community Colleges - The California Community College System includes 109 campuses and over 64 approved educational centers. Currently tuition per credit unit is $20, the lowest community college fee in the U.S.

- California Department of Veterans Affairs College Fee Waiver Program for Veterans Dependents - The dependent child, spouse, or unmarried surviving spouse of a service-connected disabled or deceased veteran may be entitled to tuition and fee waiver benefits (enrollment and health fees at College of the Desert) at any campus of the California State University system, University of California, or a California Community College.

education. It was established in 1974 as a citizen board by the Legislature and

Pathways.
- ASSIST: According to the Articulation System Stimulating Interinstitutional Student Transfer (ASSIST) web site is a computerized student-transfer information system that can be accessed over the World Wide Web. It displays reports of how course credits earned at one California college or university can be applied when transferred to another. ASSIST is the official repository of articulation for California's colleges and universities and therefore provides the most accurate and up-to-date information available about student transfer in California.
- Transfer Pathways provides information regarding the flow of community college students to public four-year colleges and universities.
- Private postsecondary educational institutions - The Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education became inoperative on July 1, 2007. Institutions approved before July 1, 2007 may be eligible for CSAAVE approval provided they can demonstrate two years of operation and held full Bureau approval during that time frame.
