Licensing or Certification Approval Process
If your organization offers licensing or certification tests, VA urges you to request approval of your tests so that veterans and other beneficiaries may receive reimbursement. If you represent a State or local licensing board, the approval requirements are minimal. If you represent a non-governmental organization, your test must be generally accepted within the industry, must have been in existence at least two years, and must meet other requirements.
Approval Requirements for Organizations Offering Licensing Test or Certification Test (38 U.S.C. 3689) must provide the following Certification of Compliance to CSAAVE:
- CSAAVE Form 11078 Certification of Compliance for Certification Examinations. This form is required with each request for approval, revision, or supplement. Each set of documents submitted must have this form with an original signature.
- CSAAVE Form 11079 Certification of Compliance Licensing Examinations. This form is required with each request for approval, revision, or supplement. Each set of documents submitted must have this form with an original signature.
